If you are considering a counseling internship:

The Paid Internship Program at the Lomi Psychotherapy Clinic is a one-year post master's program for MFT, LCSW, and Ph.D. interns. We also take Postdoctoral interns at our site. We occasionally take practicum students if they meet the qualifications below.

Duties & Qualifications:

Candidates for the program must have at least one year of previous supervised counseling experience. Interns at the Lomi Psychotherapy Clinic are expected to work twenty hours per week. Duties include direct work with clients, phone intakes, fundraising and record keeping.

Training & Supervision:

The internship includes weekly group and individual supervision, and weekly training classes. The weekly training class covers developmental psychology, psychopathology, family, couples and child therapy, depth and somatic psychotherapy. One hour of one-on-one supervision and two hours of group supervision are provided each week.

In addition to training and direct experience with clients, the Lomi Psychotherapy Clinic offers clinical interns the benefit of a supportive healing and learning community.
