Internships
The Paid Internship Program at the Lomi Psychotherapy Clinic has continuously developed over the last 35 years.
Lomi’s Internship Program is a one-year program for Trainees and Associates at different levels of their licensure process, from pre-graduate to post-graduate interns. We serve people working to fulfill their LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, and Licensed Psychologist requirements. Many interns work with us for numerous years through their licensure process. Licensed Clinicians also join our training program for further study and support.
-
Candidates for the program must have at least one-year of previous supervised counseling experience, or work in an approved allied field. Interns at the Lomi Psychotherapy Clinic are expected to work (20) twenty hours per week. Duties include direct work with clients, telephone intakes, documentation, and activities to promote outreach and fundraising
-
The internship includes weekly group and individual supervision, and weekly training classes.
-
In addition to training and direct experience with clients, the Lomi Psychotherapy Clinic offers clinical interns the benefit of a supportive healing and learning community.
-
We have ongoing start dates for internships and require a one-year commitment. To apply, email your resume, cover letter, and two letters of recommendation to Thomas Pope, LMFT.
