Eric Whetstone
Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee
As a therapist dedicated to fostering holistic well-being, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with a client-centered approach, tailored to empower individuals on their unique journeys towards fulfillment. With a profound belief in the resilience of the human spirit, I leverage evidence-based practices to cultivate acceptance, mindfulness, and behavioral change. Grounded in neuroscience, my clinical work is informed by an understanding of the brain's plasticity and the intricate interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic alliance, I strive to create a safe space where all clients can explore their inner experiences, develop self-awareness, and ultimately, embark on a path of meaningful transformation and growth as they develop the courage to move toward their adversities. I have experience working with adolescent and adult clients on mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and alcohol/substance use disorders.
I spend some of my free time enjoying nature, pursuing spiritual interests, and consulting food/beverage businesses.
