Julia Caruana Kope
Associate Clinical Social Worker
Julia Caruana Kope is a registered Associate Clinical Social Worker with a diverse background in the mental health field. She has experience working with kids, teens, and adults in a variety of settings, including in-home services, a middle school wellness center, and a community mental health clinic through the county of San Francisco. Some of Julia's clinical interests include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, adjusting to life transitions, and stress management.
Additionally, Julia has a lifelong interest in horses and is passionate about incorporating horses into the mental health field. Before attending graduate school, she provided psychotherapy services with horses for teens and young adults in a residential treatment setting. Julia encourages mindfulness practices both in the office and out with the horses, believing that connecting with nature can greatly benefit our physical and mental health.
